If you use an over the counter fungal med (Like lotrimin (clotrimazole) or nystatin) and the rash does not get better, see a doc for evaluation. Intertrigo: Yeast is not likely. Cortisone is not good for yeast, sometimes makes worse. Most likely it is chaffing and tight clothing in hot weather + travel. Shower very beneficial. Not too hot, no scrubbing. Antiperspirant, even if it stings, may help. Hydrocortisone added if severe itch. Do not shave under arms. If persists, a good dermatologist will help you. ...Read more
