Anxiety > HTN: The blood pressure mentioned is borderline hypertension. Have you taken your blood pressure when you were not anxious? I would first recommend cbt (cognitive behavior therapy) to learn how your thought can lead to anxiety. Coping skills can be learned. Adhd & anxiety: It sounds like your problems is complex if you have both adhd and anxiety. Xanax is not the best treatment of anxiety. It's a "quick fix" that changes nothing about your anxiety long term. It makes you feel good for a short while at the expense of addiction in the long run. Try to get off of it talking to your doc. Depends: Seems that people tend to prefer one or the other. Klonopin is long acting and you may not notice an immediate effect. Xanax is quick onset and does not last longer than a couple hours.
