What Organ System Does The Bladder Belong To
When botox is used on the bladder is there any way to help flush it out of your system/ help it wear off faster?
Duration of Boto: Botox usually lasts 2-4 months. There is no known method of causing it to wear off faster.
The bladder is a muscular organ in the pelvis that accepts urine from the kidneys, stores the urine at low pressure, & expels the urine during voluntary voiding. Though seemingly a simple reservoir, the bladder is a complex organ intricately connected with the brain and spinal cord with sensory, motor, and autonomic circuits. The muscular layer that contracts during voids ...Read more
? infection: Tough to say without an examination and testing, but a vaginal infection is often considered infections until proven other wise. Bladder discharges are only seen in the urine as opposed to vaginal discharges. If you have a discharge when urinating from the bladder, that would need to be evaluated as well.
No: Bladder control is a function of the sphincter. There is no food that will improve control of the bladder sphincter. It is helpful to avoid ingestion of anything that increases urine production, such as alcoholic beverages. When the bladder is full it tends to have more urine leakage. Emptying the bladder more often will result in less bladder leakage.See 1 more doctor answer
Can be: An early lesion found to involve mucosa only is easily treated by fulguration and intravesicle drugs such a BCG. If the tumor has penetrated into the muscularis of the bladder then surgical resection is most often effective. Should the lesion penetrate to the surface and nodes involved then chemo - radiation and possible cystectomy needed with high failure rate.
Likely mean Pyridium (phenazopyridine): Pyridine is chemical solvent ; not to be ingested. Pyridium (phenazopyridine) is medication which counterects the burning sensation fro bladder infections or irritants. Often very effective, colors urine orange. Should not be used longer that 5 consecutive days.
Urogynecologist: See a urogynecologist or urologist for help.
I am not sure: I am not sure what condition this type of surgery would be done. If you are talking about prolapsed bladder, there are different types of surgery. There is a sling surgery that basically involves putting a band around the bladder to support it. Whether it is successful or not in your case, you must be examined by gyn urologist and have your options laid out to you.See 1 more doctor answer
Always, Conc issue: Bacteria in bladder urine are nearly always from outside (rare exceptions). Their presence is considered ''normal" if the concentration is <100, 000 bacteria per cc, are ones commonly present in stool & ones without a track record of being very pathogenic. Bacteria concentrations increase if bladder not emptied well enough, urethra problems present, certain hygiene issues, high urinary sugar, etc.
Here are some. ..: It is called ureteral reimplantation or ureteroneocystostomy with or without psoas hitch. More detail? Ask treating urologist.
Elavil (amitriptyline) effects: Amitriptyline is the generic form of elavil (amitriptyline). It is a tricyclic antidepressant medication that has anticholinergic activity. Incidence: Childhood rhabdomyosarcoma "accounts for 3.5% of cancer among children aged 0 to 14 years, 2% of the cases among adolescents and young adults aged 15 to 19 years. The incidence is 4.5 per 1 million children and 50% of cases are seen in the first decade of life. The most common primary sites for rhabdomyosarcoma are the head, the genitourinary tract, and the extremities" cancer. Gov. Best wishes.
Cystectomy: Cystectomy. It can be partial or complete.
Possibly: Fibroids can grow large enough to press on the bladder just like your uterus can press on your bladder during pregnancy. Frequent need to urinate or a pressure feeling could be from the fibroid. I would consult with your gyn about treatment options including uterine fibroid embolization (ufe), a minimally invasive way to treat many fibroids.See 1 more doctor answer
