Had a normal emg of back, neck, and 3 limbs, MRI of head and neck was normal also. I should be clear of ALS correct. Testing done at ALS clinic dallas?

Good to hear!: If all of those tests came out negative, i would tend to trust them pretty well, which is great! ALS would most likely have shown something during those tests. It also would have demonstrated if you have ms, which again, if negative, sounds great! while i can't guarantee anything based on not seeing tests, or for the future, i would personally feel very comfortable with the results of the tests. ...Read more

Broken jaw: The first thing you should do is see and discuss your progress with the surgeon. Often reassurance is not a strong suit of surgeons. The energy dissipated into your jaw to break it is tremendous, and parts that dont break like the tmjs are often injured (nonsurgical injury). So the healing after jaw fractures may take months. Not likely ALS but..: Based upon your described symptoms, ALS would be unusual. However, your symptoms could be the result of injury to the trigeminal nerve on the left side which can be the result of a dangerous and/or life-threatening problem. I would recommend that you see a neurologist, ENT and a dentist to ensure nothing else is going on. ...Read more
