Sometimes something just can't be figured-out(like why my girlfriend just dumped me).The vertex of your head is innervated by the 2nd cranial nerve, the nose the 5th(nasociliary branch). It's hard to draw a connection.Sometimes this happens, why I don't know ...Read more
Possible cause: Allergies can cause persistent nasal congestion/blockage of sinuses and thus can cause sinus infection..Sphenoid sinusitis, not as common as maxilary/frontal/ethmoid sinusitis, but can result from poorly controlled allergies resulting headache/pain to top of head, and may cause some dizziness at times etc..So it is possible. I would consult to have an eval to make sure.. Good luck. ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer
Left neck felt sharp pain. Now dull pain and left arm burns n back n top of head hurts. What could cause this?
Probably soft tissue: Assuming you have previously been healthy the source of pain is probably soft tissue irritation (ligament or muscle) causing muscle spasm in the neck. This can cause "referred pain" to your head and arm. A less likely cause would be a disc injury causing irritation or pressure on a nerve to your arm. The symptoms should go away soon, but if not please see your doctor. ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer

What would cause a sharp pain in my head than follow by a nose bleeds has only happened 2 times in the last 6 months
Epistaxis : Epistaxis or bloody noses can be caused by a variety of things and is worth having it looked into by your primary care doctor or an ear, nose and throat doctor (otolaryngologist). Seeing that your nosebleeds follow a sharp headache, you should also be evaluated for high blood pressure since this can lead to nosebleeds that are difficult to stop. In the meantime, here are a few nose bleed tips. If your nose starts to bleed, pinch the soft part of your nose below the bridge, not the bridge to stop the bleeding. Now keep pinching for 5 minutes. Set a timer or look at a watch because it will feel like forever. And no peeking! that will stop 95% of all nosebleeds. ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer
