What might be causing mild pain in my right testicle?

Groin and testis: Pain in the scrotum can be acute and or emergent, or mild and non emergent. Hernia, torsion (twisting), tumor and infection are the most likely culprits and need to be evaluated by a good exam, urine testing and sonogram.

Testicles (Definition)

The testicles are the two oval male gonads, or reproductive glands, located in the scrotum. The seminiferous tubules of the testis are the site of spermatogenesis and its leydig cells secrete testosterone. The term testicles is synonymous with testes or gonads. The singular form is ...Read more

No varicoceles, no hernia, no infection but still my testicles hurts. Mild pain/discomfort. What could be the cause?

Testis pain: Most cases of pain in the testicle will resolve on their own. I would see your primary care doctor to make sure you don't have an infection first. A scrotal ultrasound may also be helpful. I would advise that if your symptoms persist longer than three months, you should probably see an urologist who is comfortable with treating scrotal content pain syndromes.

Consult doctor soon: You might have done masturbation vigorously and that has caused trauma to the testis. Your right testis is most probably swollen and painful. Apply ice to right testis, but must see the doctor soon.

Urologist: Several possibilities here but the best thing to do is see a urologist or your primary care doc. He or she can check for possible hernia or torsion to be safe. Peace and good health.

Mild pain on the top part of the right testicle. It's only painful when I touch it. No pain anywhere else and this has been 3 days it's like this.

See urologist timely: Continue recording the degree and progress of the pain as well as possible discomfort in urination with their detailed sequence of event, and bring those to urologist for analysis, more Hx, physicals, and test as needed, so to deduce possible Dx - epididymitis (STD-related) or possible intermittent testicular torsion or? . Best wish...

Mild pain/discomfort in left testicle when ejaculating. Should I be worried?

See your doctor: Problems like these can only be correctly handled by your doctor in person. He/she needs to listen to you, perform an examination and possibly run labs or other tests. That's the only way he/she can find out what's going on and what to do about it.

What to expect after twisted testicle surgery? Is low to mild pain in the other testicle normal?

Every once in a while I get a mild pain on my left testicle. I don't notice any swelling of any sort. What could this be?

Multiple things: The differential diagnosis for testicular pain is very broad and can include pain referred from the groin from hernias or structural problems with the spermatic cord. Immediate pain that does not subside is an emergency. Even without swelling, a serious cause is a possibility, and testicular pain warrants an examination by a urologist, basic urine and blood tests, and a sonogram of the testicle.

I have mild pain in my testicle from 3 weeks it come and goes I want toknow that it is infection or just groin?

I have mild pain in my testicle from 3 weeks it come and goes I want toknow that it is infection or just groin?

The groin is not...: ....The testicle, and the testicle is not the groin. They are near each other, but if the pain is in the testicle it is in the testicle. If you are having pain in the testicle it could be something harmless like a viral infection that will pass, or it could be something much more serious. If it's been going one for weeks and isn't going away, you need to see your doctor.

Pain in your scrotum: Pain in your testicle can be anything from a minor inconvenience to an emergency. Is the pain intolerable? Do you have a fever? Is the scrotum swelling? If so you may need to get to an urgent care center. Less urgent would be an inguinal hernia, and a swelling in the tubing like a spermatocele or varicocele. But, if the pain persists please get to a trusted medical provider soon.

Testicular pain: A full exam and some test can better determine if it is anything serious. If there is no blood in urine or ejaculate or mass on testicle than likely nerve pain that is fleeting. Need to check for infection and have an exam for hernias varicoceles hydroceles masses or lymph nodes.

Orhalgia: Scrotal pain can be from many things. If the epididymi (above and below testes) are tender to touch, likely epididymitis. If nothing in scrotum is tender, likely varicocele. Also may be a hernia. See a urologist for examination and diagnosis.

I am 20 years old and have recently, past 2 weeks, been getting mild pain in my testicles. The pain comes and goes, and there is no pain to the touch. I had been hit in the testicles but it wasn't very hard. The pain usually occurs when wearing tighter pan

Hello.: Hello. I think you already did all the work here. Anything that puts pressure on, or cuts off the circulation to your genitalia can cause pain within the scrotum. You already mentioned several things you do that make it worse: wearing tight pants and briefs and sitting too much. Sitting with your legs crossed and bicycle seats can also be problematic. Think of all the pressure this puts on your testicles, prostate and perineum. Ouch! Ok, so what can you do to get rid of your testicular discomfort? 1. Trade in those briefs for boxer shorts. 2. No more skin tight jeans. 3. Stop crossing your legs. 4. Get up off your butt regularly and move around. 5. Gentle massage of the area and sitting in a warm tub of water can be soothing. If you get severe pain, especially if is not remitting, then you definately need medical attention. Stay well.
