Liver on upper right: Take your hand and place it along your lower ribs on your right upper abdomen. That is where the front of the liver lies. It is about the size of a football. The left lower side had intestines. Inflammation like diverticulitis can cause severe pain there. This might have nothing to do with hcv, but if you have cirrhosis there is an increased risk of infections. Sounds like you need to get checked. ...Read more

Is taking a vitamin B complex tablet daily could be of any damage to liver or any other organ? N.B: I lift heavy weights.
NO: B vitamins by definition are nutrients essential to good health and at least 75% of Americans do not get adequate B vitamins from their diet. The only possible damage known to occur from B vitamins is neuropathy from taking 500 mg/day or more of B6 for many months, though I advise not taking more than 200 mg/day to be cautious. This damage is reversible on stopping it. No B complex has that much. ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer

Probably muscular: If it's only with lifting, it's probably muscular. Many muscles are attached to the lower part of your chest, so that's a common place to have pain. Sometimes, the cartilage along your ribs also becomes irritated and hurts there. As long as you aren't having shortness of breath, and the pain is only with lifting or motion, take some Tylenol (acetaminophen) and Advil, put a little heat on it, and don't worry. ...Read more

Wonderful: Wonderful that you have been able to lose so much weight. Your question is difficult to answer without an exam or at least photos. A lower body lift generally will improve the buttocks and upper and inner thighs and less so the abdomen. I find that the abdominal area will usually be best approached with a circumferential abdominoplasty that will also help the buttocks and upper outer thighs to some degree. Most massive weight loss patients need several operations over time to achieve the very best results. ...Read moreSee 4 more doctor answers
