I've been having tension type headaches for the past few days or so. It happens ONLY at night and top/sides of the head. Is this a brain tumor?

Highly unlikely: Your symptoms aren't at all the classical or common ones we hear from people who end up complaining of headaches which turn out to be associated with the growth of brain tumors. What are the chances of having a brain tumor when neurologist says everything is fine and the headaches are tension type?

What are the chances of having a brain tumor when neurologist says everything is fine and the headaches are tension type?

Very unlikely: The vast majority of patients seen for headaches have either tension headaches or migraine. It's probably not uncommon for a primary care physician not to have seen even one patient his entire career who had a primary brain tumor as a cause for headache.
