A sudden chest, back and left shoulder and arm pain for about 30minutes. What is it? And should I see a doctor?

Must call the doctor: Any person with chest, left shoulder, and left arm pain symptoms has to go to his doctor or the E.R. to be checked right away for a heart attack. That means not waiting at home to see if it becomes a bad heart attack. It could turn out to be a lung problem, a bone or muscle problem, or an acid reflux problem, but the heart attack kills people. As the saying goes, "better safe than sorry". Read more

Neck pb causing armpit arm pain. Doc recommended physioth. But why puffy armpit? Can it be fibrocystic br and br pain? Ultra s is clear just 1cm lymphn

I disagree: This need evaluation to rule out infection. The evaluation may require biopsy of the node. I have no idea why physiotherapy would be suggested before a more complete evaluation of possible causes. Read more

Hi Doc here are my symptoms pinching pain in back of shoulder, shooting pain in shoulder and down arm, pain in front of shoulder also can been 5 month?

Seek consult: I would recommend you see either an orthopedic surgeon or a neurosurgeon as you may have a problem with a disc in your neck. I sounds suspicious for a "pinched nerve" or herniated cervical disc. A physical examination and possible a MRI would be helpful. Short term medication and physical therapy are often all that is needed for resolution of your symptoms. Read more

Having chest pain that comes goes and pain in left arm went to the doc and had EKG everything normal. I checked bp 10 times could that cause arm pain?

I don't think so: Your pain may be musculoskeletal or stress induced. At your age, coronary artery disease is very low probability. Bp check usually doesn't cause Arm pain but as you are telling me that you checked 10 times that may suggest you are anxious about it which it self can cause psychogenic pain. Try Tylenol (acetaminophen). Read more
