I have what looked like a misquote bite turn into a circle bruise surrounding bite, does not hurt or ich, do I still need to see a doctor/nurse?

Yes: What you described suggest erythema migrans and is indicative of tick and possible Lyme disease. Do see a doctor at your earliest. Visit this site for info, but do see a doctor. Https://www. Cdc. Gov/lyme/signs_symptoms/

Do doctors see a lot of patients with bruising?

Do doctors see a lot of patients with bruising?

Hematologists do...: When bruising is of concern, sometimes hematologists are consulted. If someone has new bruising on the back, chest or face without any history of trauma, that pattern would warrant further investigation. Bruising with new bleeding symptoms like long nosebleeds or gum bleeding is also something that should get worked up. Simple blood tests can help determine the cause, and treatments are available.

I don't know if I have a bruise or an insect bite. Should I see a doctor?

I don't know if I have a bruise or an insect bite. Should I see a doctor?

Is it troubling you?: Regardless if it is a bruise or an insect bite, if the lesion is troubling you (uncomfortable, painful, unusually itchy, red or swelling) or has remained a bother for an extended period of time then this warrants an evaluation by your local physician. Bruises or insect bites tend to be rather transient and provide a nuisance temporarily--yet your situation seems to have been more persistent.

Should I see a specialist for bruising, or can my regular doctor take care of it?

Should I see a specialist for bruising, or can my regular doctor take care of it?

Start with PCP: Start with your primary care doctor. S/he can order tests to try to identify the cause of the bruising. If warranted, they can then refer you to the appropriate specialist, often a hematologist.

Bruising: Certainly easy bruising can be a side of in abnormality in your ability to clot. If she has never seen anyone, an appointment to her General pediatrician or to a hematologist seems reasonable. Hope that helps.

I fell hard on my stairs and my bruise is hard and swelling more everyday, black, and starting to spread, should I see a doctor?

Sounds normal: The hematoma that is deep usually makes more appearance at the skin over 2 to 3 days and over the next week may spread out over the area depending on loose skin and dermis and gravity affects of the areas. Hope this helps and you continue to improve if the area increases pain or warmth and reddness you need to be seen for possible infection.

Bite: It may have been a spider bite. It it gets worse over the next 2 days instead of better, have it seen. Be seen for any infection concerns. Keep it clean and apply a topical antibiotic if you have no allergies. All the best.

How do doctors normally treat a bone bruise in a child? Plus, can you get a bone bruise without falling and how? My daugther runs in cross-country.

How do doctors normally treat a bone bruise in a child? Plus, can you get a bone bruise without falling and how? My daugther runs in cross-country.

Bruise = patience: A bone bruise is like a scuff mark in a tree's bark. Bone has sensory endings in the layer around the bones surface like the bark of a tree. If you hit it, the blow can trigger the pain receptors & sometimes a reaction at the bones surface. A bump may form with some calcium buildup. A direct or glancing blow can trigger the event. Over time it will heal on its own.

Probably see doc: From your description, you could easily have at least a fractured coccyx. (tailbone). It is not necessarily serious but can be very painful. X-rays of your pelvis could evaluate for other more serious injuries. If it is continuing to be very painful, you should be evaluated by a healthcare provider! Good luck!!!

Yes: Easy bruising may indicate a low platelet count. It may mean nothing as well. You should get checked if it continues. Avoid aspirin in the meantime

I have been feeling most of the symptoms of appendicitis and now there is a large bruise above my hip, should I go see a doctor? Is the bruise related

See a doctor: The bruise is not related to appendicitis but might be related to the reason of pain you are having in that area. For your own peace of mind go and see a doctor for proper evaluation. Either you get reassured or you get treated.

How do I take my child to the doctor the get unexplained bruising checked out. I have a family history of itp.?

Get a platelet count: You child should have a platelet count to see what his or her level is. Itp causes low platelets and bruising and bleeding. Call your pediatrician and have things checked right away. Child abuse must also be considered if you have left your child off at a day care for example.
