FNAC right infra auricular swelling from many years and shows features of sialadenitis..plus chronic tonsilitis what precautions should i take?
Unsure. Hydration?: The cytology report did not specify if the FNA of the swelling was taken in the tonsil or salivary gland. (Or both? I'm confused) I wonder if something was left unexamined or if the main "mass" or problem was missed. A sialogram could show a stone (goes with sialadenitis), in which case drinking lots of fluid is preventative. (Dry mouth can be caused by fluoxetine).
