I had joint fusion on my big toe 10 weeks ago and I was wondering if it normal for my foot to go to sleep while standing on it & feel taut in the arch?
I have what I would discribe as muscular discomfort in the arch of my foot. It will appear as I get up in the morning and feels as my foot is restrictive in movement. If I go down the stairs I may have to do each step at a time rather stroll down them..

I've had perhaps a dozen instances of a feeling of sudden warmth in my right foot (left of arch) in the past day while standing, sit, lay down, etc.
Warmth in foot...: Feelings of temperature changes can be due to parasthesias. This can be incidental or there can be an underlying cause to it.
