Depends: Well, it really depends on what it is! if it's a wart, then there are ways to get rid of them - if its an infection, then you might be need treatment for that (if it's painful or getting bigger, i would get it checked out). Toe lesion: Without seeing this and running some tests cannot tell, but this sounds as if it should be seen urgently and not allowed to progress further. If this is infected it can spread upwards and into the blood stream or into the underlying bone. They should see a doctor asap. ...Read more

There is a black out raised bump on the side of my big toe, a red streak comes from that. There is very rough skin covering, it hurts to press down.

I would apply : A topical over the counter hydrocortisone cream three times a day and see if this gets better. It sounds like a dermatitis. Many times over the counter may not be strong enough but its worth a shot before seeing a doctor. ...Read more
