What Is The Worst Vision You Can Have
Check your state: "visual acuity screening standard is 20/40 or better with both eyes together, no worse than 20/70 in the poorer eye. Drivers who fail the vision screening are referred to a vision specialist. Drivers with visual acuity of 20/200 or worse may not be licensed to drive. Drivers may use bioptic telescopes for driving, but may not use them to meet the vision standard".See 1 more doctor answer
Varies by State: Most states set a limit of 20/40 in the best eye for their limit. There is some variation by each state. Check with your department of motor vehicles for the rules in your state.
Eye parameters: The level of vision is not the criteria used for lasik evaluation. It is a combination of the refractive error (numbers like -6.00 on your eyeglass prescription) and the thickness of the front of the eye. Other factors include general health, age and history of eye disease. Check with your ophthalmologists for suitability or with the lasik surgeon you have chosen.See 1 more doctor answer
Field loss: Cushing's is due to a pituitary tumor that causes the body to secrete excess steroid. If the tumor is large enough, it can squeeze on the optic nerve with loss of vision. Prolonged steroid levels in the body can also cause cataracts and glaucoma. These are the major effects of this condition on the eyes.

Form of vision loss: Visual impairment is the loss of vision from some disease, trauma or degeneration that cannot be corrected by glasses, medication or surgery. In the us we use different terms to signify the degree of impairment such as "low vision", "legally blind" and "totally blind". These are defined by how good the best corrected vision is as well as how much of the peripheral vision is intact.
I had my eyes examined recently and it seems my left has actually improved in vision when it was my worst and weakest eye. Is this possible?
Absolutely, visual: Acuity primarily determined by curvature of cornea, the 8 extraocular muscles (which pull to rotate the eye), the shape of the lens (behind the iris) combined with intraocular pressure so as to focus light rays on the fovea centralis portion of the retina combined with light receptor density. Thus there are multiple interacting factors which can change, both quickly & over time, to change focus.
My left eye has been red for around 5 days, but my right is fine. The vision on my left eye is a little worst these few days, what's wrong? No allergies
An exam helpful: Red eye without comment on pain, but worsening vision makes me wonder about low grade inflammation, perhaps asymmetrical dryness or allergy. The latter two usually feel scratchy, dry, or itchy. With your arthritis like systemic history, i'd wonder whether you have an anterior uveitis. An exam is necessary for you and I recommend seeing an ophthalmologist.See 1 more doctor answer
Dizzy: There are many causes of dizziness. When you also see white spots, I am concerned about poor blood circulation, which may affect the visual cortex. In any case, call your primary care doctor for an appointment-- I am concerned about your health.
Dizziness. Flying with a plane. More dizzy, headache, pain in ears, blurry vision. This is all the time. If I climb somewhere high it get's worst.
