Twitching: Maybe not an emergency but still you should not delay an evaluation with a physician. Sounds like facial myokymia. A neurologist could determine if a neuroimaging is necessary as part of the work up. ...Read more

Keep having this spasm/twitching right side of head behind ear left of temple, all day. Usually like 2 twitches/spasm each time, wakes me up too..

Muscle twitch: we call these fasiculations. Involuntary movement or twitching of a muscle. Do you have them anywhere else? How long have you had this? If just a day or two, watchful waiting ok. Type of Migraine?: May be you are experiencing Migraine ( vascular headache Which is typically localized and throabing. Try to find the trigger events ot food. And may want to avoid them. Also take OTC Tylenol (acetaminophen) or Excedrin Migarine medicine. I do not think Nexium has any thing to do with this, Are you sure you are not hearing your Heart beat? ...Read more

Unlikely: If we are talking about an infant sometimes occasionally pulling on the ears may be symptom. There are "tics" which are usually twitching, eye blinking which if worsens may suggest something more serious(unrelated to the ear infection).This condition should be evaluated by a neurologist.
