I have had some test done and they told me my stomach is not emptying into the small intestine correctly, can this be caused by a hernia.?

Possibly: There are many reasons why your stomach may not be emptying correctly. A large hiatal hernia can certainly cause problems with your stomach properly emptying, however you should have a proper evaluation by a gastroenterologist.

What foods can strengthen muscles as I can't exercise I have divericulation of abdomen recti and slight herniation. Dr.S?

See a surgeon!: A diastasis of the rectus muscles (no such thing as a diverticulation of abdomen recti) should not Prohibit you from exercising! A hernia may but that can be fixed. Go see a general surgeon about your hernia. It can be fixed, and then 6 weeks later, you can get back to full physical activity!

Your Doctor can help: Blood in the stool is always worry some. You can go and see your gp and ask him to examine you and check you blood for any problems. For a young person, you are already affected by more problems than I would expect. You need to exercise daily and eat healthy diet (this is just general advice which may get your mind off the illnesses that are affecting you a bit sooner than later).

Sounds a lot: Like IBS C (Irritable Bowel Syndrome-Constipation) Speak with your PCP (Primary Care Provider) since this is usually a "Diagnosis of Exclusion" (after other more serious possibilities are eliminated) Hope this is helpful! Dr Z

Fever of 99.6 for 7 days, left lower abdomen pain, bloated, occasional bleeding in bowel, diarrhea, food allergies, throwing up clean colonoscopy. Help?

Fever of 99.6 for 7 days, left lower abdomen pain, bloated, occasional bleeding in bowel, diarrhea, food allergies, throwing up clean colonoscopy. Help?

Get 2nd opinion: It almost sounds like diverticulitis which may not be detected by a colonoscopy. On the other hand, throwing up is not part of the symptoms unless you have a systemic infection which does occurs in diverticulitis. The counterpoint is that diverticulitis occurs usually in a much older age Food allergy is not associated with a fever. Suggest a consult @ an university center or with another GI.

How serious is it to have a small part of the bowel in the upper abdomen, protrude and be able to push in back into place?

Abdominal Hernia: It is serious enough that it should be fixed before a day arrives when it is strangled in the muscles of the abdomen. As long as it is not hurting this is, however, not an emergency.
