What Is The Perfect Height And Weight For A Woman
BMI: Body mass index...Obesity is one thing that is important...But the ratio is irrelevant if the woman is healthy and active. There really are people with big bones and small bones and their height /weight ratios will be very different...The bmi ratio is a number that can let one know if they are overweight or obese. It works most of the time unless u r a bodybuilder. Then it is wrong.
I am just shy of being 5 5 and weight approximately 190 what would be the recommended wieight for a woman of my height who has a sturdy build?
120-150 pounds: See the weight chart. Anywhere between 120 (low end) and 150 (high end) are healthy weights for your height. Just losing 10 pounds (5% of your body weight) will have a very positive affect on your long term health. Start with a smaller goal and keep going till you get there. Add in physical activity for added health bonus!See 1 more doctor answer
About 120 lbs: One easy equation for weight is to be 100 lbs for 5 feet and then add about 5 lbs per inch. So for 5'4'' an average weight would be 120 lbs plus or minus about 10 lbs. If you are severely overweight you should not expect to get down to that weight though.
Girl: For a woman the formula is 100 pounds for 5 ft tall and 5 pounds for each inch there after (160 would be the answer) you can add or subtract 10% for a small or large frames.
No GH excess: Hi. In our lab, that IGF-1 would be within normal limits for a 43 yo woman, so we have no evidence of growth hormone excess. However, the BMI is 36.4, diagnostic of obesity. The height is stated as "1.82 cm", but I strongly suspect you mean 1.82 m or 182 cm. This is taller than the average woman, but the IGF-1 suggests no GH excess.See 1 more doctor answer
Is 139 a normal body weight for an 18 year old woman with a height of 5'5" I can't remember what the healthy or normal weight range is?
If a woman of short stature is overweight or obese do you think the excess weight will cause them to appear shorter in height?
Why?: It is perception which is how one person looks at it. And that is just their opinion. Obese or thin ones height is ones height... And whether they appear short or not really should not make any difference. Carry yourself as tall and that is what comes through!
I am a 46 year old woman, height- 147 cm, weight- 70 kg. How soon can I start exercising & having sex after laparotomy?
Laparotomy healing: You are 46 and had a laparotomy not laparoscopy. The incision needs 4-6 weeks to heal. The suture used will last a while then your own healing is responsible. Don't smoke eat healthy and exercise by walking. Your will have a follow up with your surgeon and no intercourse until you are healed.
4' 10" and 104 lbs.: Those are the averages as calculated for the 2006 HANES study. More importantly is what is your genetic inheritance. If you have the data on how you have been growing over these past several years you can plot out your growth over time.
Many variables...: It depends on your "frame" size, but height and weight charts are all over the internet. These give recommendations, but differ for each person based in age and level of activity as well. Http://www. Healthchecksystems. Com/heightweightchart. Htm.
Age dependent!: After puberty it is age dependent. Weight/height tables are obsolete and only a crude guide to ideal weight per height. Best single measure is body composition analysis through electrical impedance plethysmography. For a teen, ideal body fat is 16-23. For a women over 20, 23-29% ideal. Diet and exercise should promote leaness, rather than a target weight.
Lots of answers: You can look many different places and get many different answers. Based on the life insurance table that I have it is 145-159 lbs (female) and 154-167 (male).
Healthy diet: Genetics is the predominating factor but anedoctal evidence suggest healthy diet may help achieve your potential.
Charts: You would have to google growth charts +/or average adult scales for women and men in each asian country specifically.
See Dr., then eat...: If one is truly underweight (based on height, family background, and body type), a Dr. Can evaluate for a hormonal, digestive, or other disorder. If no medical cause is found, then one can add weight by eating more calories of nutritious foods, while also doing weight-training to increase muscle. Proteins: egg white, chicken breast, salmon, ... Better fats: olive oil, peanuts, almonds, tofu, ...
There is no answer!: Too many sub-races and ethnicities, and variables that\ are social: food availability and healthcare. Example, south koreans are larger than north koreans. In africa, if you are a watusi, you will be taller than someone from the congo. There is no answer, because of the variables.
100-110: 100-110 pounds for this height is in the average range.
