What Is The Normal Dosage Of Flecainide
I took two dosages of Flecainide at the same time by mistake. How can I correct the future dosages?
I'm on flecainide 50mg bid. My symptoms seem worse since I started the med 5 days ago. My doc wants me to increase dose 100mg bid. What do you think?
Flecainide: We don't know enough about you out here to make a judgment. Without knowing more about you, why you're on flecainide and lots of other factors, about all we can say is. I drink SMALL amounts of alcohol - normal heart, but in AF. I am not susceptible to alcohol but does Flecainide (in itself) make me MORE susceptible
Am on flecainide and lisinopril and am having some dry coughing and hearth rate goes up when cough is this normal or is this is an allergic reaction?
If Long QT syndrome or Brugada detected on ECG/Echo as a result of Flecainide use, does this revert to normal if medication is discontinued?
EKG and Flecanide: Flecanide will not cause Long QT but may manifest Brugada like EKG. Brugada EKG is Dynamic. i.e not present all the times but certain drugs like Flecanide may manifest it. It is true: removing the drug will correct the EKG, but in individuals who had Brugada like EKG on Flecanide and who are symptomatic with loss of consciousness etc. further testing for risk assessment is needed. ...Read more
A test showed Serum sodium of 134 mmo1/L. Is this dangerous and can it be caused by Flecainide/Warfarin? Remainder of Urea and electrolytes normal.
No danger: Your sodium level is just one point below the lower limit of normal and that is not a dangerous situation. You may have just taken water before the test. ...Read more
A recent blood test showed my Eosinophil count was 0.0 10*9/L. Is this dangerously low - rest of FBC normal. Can this be caused by Flecainide/Warfarin?
