Need more info: What do you mean electrocuted? Regardless of the metal plate in your arm you could die depending on the voltage. Replace?: Usually a metal plate is used to hold the bone while it heals. The bone will eventually be strong without limitations. The plate is not removed unless it causes problems. If the plate was used to replace the bone (unlikely) then this is temporary and you will need more surgery. ...Read more

It varies.: You can start "hand grip exercises" as soon as ordinary activities are comfortable. Official xray report: Sounds like you have either a delayed union vs. non union of the bone. A delayed union is a fracture that still has the potential to heal though it may take up to a year or so to do so. Bracing and a bone stimulator can help. BUT if the X-ray shows signs that it is a non union then it is unlikely to heal without surgical intervention. Xray criteria for each condition are well documented ...Read more
