What Is The Half Life Of Etg
Depends on dose: The reported half life of IV cortisol is about 1 hr for lower doses, 2 hr for higher doses. Cortisol given intramuscularly, subcutaneous, or in the spine will have a different half life that depends on how it is absorbed into the blood. ...Read more
Doesn't have one: As far as i can tell. Inositol is a sugar, and it is broken down in the stomach and first part of the intestines to simple sugars that are absorbed and then metabolized for energy in both the body and brain. I do not believe there is any free inositol that would enter the bloodstream or cross into the CNS as the parent sugar. ...Read more
Lasts through season: I'm not sure if you're asking when it will kick in, or how long it lasts... Flu shots are good for the season, since they're geared to the expected strains. They don't "wear off" so much as fail to cover the strains coming out the next fall. It takes a couple weeks for the immunity to kick in, but they should last a long while; new shot needed every fall due to new strains. ...Read more
What is the half-life of olanzapine? Is a half-life the time it takes for half of the medicine to leave the body?
What's the question?: Is it, what does "half-life" mean? If so, then this isn't just about olanzapine. Elimination time of any drug that follows first-order kinetics is measured in half-lives. (Well, you asked.) This is part of any drug's "pharmacokinetics." I won't waste space trying to explain that to you here. A web search for "pharmacokinetics" will bring up lots of sources so you can learn at your level. ...Read more

Regardless, most pharmacies in the States label oral drugs as expiring after 1 year, presumably under cool dry conditions. ...Read more

Depends: The half life is used to help determine how long for peak plasma concentration and the rule of 4 half lives would be 32 hours. Elimination should be within a week but is affected by hydration, other medications, kidney/liver function, etc. so depends. Metronidazole is eliminated through the urine and stool so impossible to say for sure but 1 week is a good guideline for complete elimination. ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer
