What is the difference between laser liposuction and laser lipolysis?

What is the difference between laser liposuction and laser lipolysis?

Laser liposuction: Laser lipolysis can be done in conjuction with tumescent aspiration liposuction (removal of the fat after laser treats the fat). Laser lipolysis is attempted through the skin without much success but has been done via cannula through the skin and introduced in the fat before tumescent liposuction. ...Read more

What is the difference between smart laser liposuction and regular liposuction?

What is the difference between smart laser liposuction and regular liposuction?

Laser vs. no laser: Smart lipo uses a laser to melt or liquefy fat whereas regular liposuction uses a metal tube to mechanically break the fat loose. Does zerona liposuction ever hurt? I've read how the laser is safe, but lasers are used for cutting! does the procedure ever cause pain? Maybe if it's accidentally used wrong?

.

Zerona not lipo: Zerona treatments are not "liposuction" and should not be called liposuction [ which is the actual removal of fat through suction cannulas]. Zerona is not really a laser.{it is a single wavelength but it not amplified} it is low energy light therapy that is directed on the skin that can give minimal fat reduction. You can't feel it & it doesnt cause pain. It is very safe but not very effective. ...Read more

What is laser liposuction?

Laser Assisted LPS: Uses certain laser frequencies to help liquify and heat the fat and subskin areas (theoretically to tighten the skin). Results are not significantly different that with syringe or low pressure machine lps. Major marketing claims better results, but clinical experience suggests that laser and ultrasound uses are not of great advantage, and usually cost more. Many use both. ...Read more

Can a nurse perform laser liposuction?

Can a nurse perform laser liposuction?

they shouldn't: The question is not whether they can, but rather should they. I would highly recommend having your cosmetic surgery performed by board-certified plastic surgeon. The technical expertise in performing surgery and ability to manage complications is what physicians are trained for. Typically nonphysicians have little more than a weekend course in procedures such as injectables. ...Read more

Minor Differences: Personally, i think that there are minor differences between the technologies used for liposuction surgery. However, i think that the most important decision you make is who performs the liposuction surgery. In general i suggest patients seek consultation with board-certified plastic surgeons for these procedures. Ask to see lots of examples of their work and communicate with previous patients. ...Read more

No: It does not make it more effective. The only advantage is that it can be done with a bit of heat creating a possibility for skin tightening. However, there is a risk of burning the skin from inside. It is good for small areas. But it is a catchy name for patients. The device is as smart as the physician using it. ...Read more

Yes in an office: Laser liposuction is commonly performed in an office setting. This procedure is less invasive and painful than regular liposuction.
