What Is The Difference Between Fist Food And Second
My 10 month baby clenched her fists and shaked with eyes wide open 1st time today when refusing food, like a strong body spasm. Epilepsy or autism or?
Likely NEITHER: If there was no change in the baby's mental status and they simply were showing the strong emotion of anticipation to eat then, what they demonstrated can be quite understandable. However, if there are doubts or this has happened before then, you should see a pediatric neurologist. More questions? My baby will be 5 months on april 9th she still has her fist closed most of the time! is that normal still?
Should be able to...: She should be able to open her hand to let go of something she is holding, and batting at objects, perhaps even starting to reach towards things, maybe grabbing them if she comes across them, usually bringing them to her mouth, esp more towards 5-6 months. She should be able to do these things pretty equally with both hands. If she's not, i'd check with her dr. To make sure her development is ok. ...Read moreSee 2 more doctor answers

This brings the fingers & thumb in to a clutched position. By 3-4 mo the baby will have the hand open more & the reflexive grasp gives way to a purposeful grasp.A hard inward deviation of the thumb that will not relax is a problem ...Read more
It's been 5months since i've been able to make a fist without exscrewciating pain in my forearm. Ot has not helped.
May be tendinitis : If you are describing pain that starts behind the thumb and radiates up your forearm when you make a fist, then you probably have a dequervain's tenosynovitis.
