What Is The Biological Difference Between Vaginal Bleeding And Your Period
PeriodsR predictable: Normal menstrual periods are cyclical or predictable. The bleeding comes from shedding the lining of the uterus in response to the cyclical change in your hormone levels. Vaginal bleeding (vb) is unpredictable and may be related to various things including trauma, infection, tumors, medications, atrophy, etc. Abnormal vaginal bleeding should be evaluated by your physician.
Get checked: A speculum exam can tell the source of bleeding, and of course knowing the date of your last period.
Menstrual bleeding: Is one source of bleeding. Women can bleed vaginally for other reasons as well.
Vaginal Bleeding: A period is a synchronized, timed shedding of the lining of the uterus, typically monthly over a period of 3-7 days. It occurs only if you ovulated. A period results in vaginal bleeding, but other things can cause the bleeding as well, such and problems with the uterine lining, hormonal issues, endometrial or cervical cancer, even tears anywhere in the lower genital tract.
Depends: Depends on age but could be menopause at age 52. As for me and I'd be happy to do a consult with you thank you
See below: In general, your beriod should be cyclic and predictable. Excluding pregnancy, any other bleeding would be considered pathologic.
You might not: If the bleeding is occurring at regular intervals, it probably is your period. Your physician with more information would be able to give you a better answer.
Vag Bleeding: Abnormal vaginal bleeding has many possible causes. By itself, it does not necessarily indicate a serious condition. But if it has been happening for a month you should see your GYN doctor. Http://www. Webmd. Com/women/tc/abnormal-vaginal-bleeding-topic-overview#1See 1 more doctor answer
I have had vaginal bleeding for 9 days now. Bleeding started 4-5 days before period was set to start. What could this be?
Irregular cycle: This may be a hormonal breakthrough bleed; however, if sexually active and unprotected, get a pregnancy test. I also suggest a GYN evaluation.
My last period was sept 17th, and now I am having a dark reddish brown vaginal bleeding, and it's a light flow. What should I do?
Wait: If you don't think you might have a chance to be pregnant, and you are not having pain. I would wait and see what happens with your next period.
I'm having problems with after period vaginal bleeding. There are a lot of events that have lead up to this point, so I feels serious to me. Help plz?
Go see your doctor: If it feels serious to you, then you need to go see your doctor for a complete & thorough evaluation. This isn't appropriate venue to ask you to go into detail re "lot of events that have lead up to this point". This is where your doctor steps in to help figure out what's going on. Good luck!
Pregnant?: Have you done a pregnancy test? If negative, your period was just a bit late and will likely self-correct itself next cycle. Good luck.
By Calender: Periods come every month. Most people have 28 to 30 days cycle. And periods are associated with other changes like sore breasts, cramps in lower abdomen.
