Depends: White stretch marks are most likely from growth and are old. These are likely permanent. Purple stretch marks are likely new and, in the absence of certain diseases that cause them (i.e. Cushings) they may be from rapid growth. You can use lasers or in some cases topical retinoids to lighten them but avoiding more from occurring by not gaining weight- or losing weight can help. ...Read more
