Are there any vitamins or herbs that help 'cleanse' the liver? Sometimes I have to take high doses of acetaminophen.
Not proven help: You did not say the dose but always avoid more than 4000 milligrams of acetaminophen. Drink lots of water to hydrate. I hope this will help. ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer
I take a vitamin D every day 1000 mg will this affect my liver? Should I go down in mg I am 55 years old

If you were taking 1000 MG it would be something like 40 million IU's! So assuming you are really taking 1000 IU's daily, that dose is very reasonable, considered safe, and shouldn't affect your liver. All supplements should be reviewed with Doc:) ...Read more

I take amlodipine 5mg Atenolol 50 mg daily. Vitamin D2 50, 000 units capsules for 12 weeks for Vitamin Def 25. Can I take Mag 07 and Liver Rescue 5+?
Would avoid: Mag07 and Liver Rescue are self-described laxatives and herbal supplements. As with all herbal products, they are not regulated for safety, purity & effectiveness. I wouldn't recommend them for anybody largely because of lack of effectiveness vs danger. I would be especially careful to avoid laxative-based supplements if I were taking meds that lower blood pressure as you are. Good luck! ...Read more
