I've been having nauseas and lots of burps for 5days and today yellow stools. (I don't have a gallbladder) help?
Doctor can evaluate: With such tummy symptoms, a person can write down everything he eats or drinks, on a daily calendar, and take it to his primary care or G.I. doctor for evaluation. Include on the diary: which meds, how much, and taken at what time. Some testing and some diet alterations may be suggested, and then the doctor(s) can follow-up to see if things get better. ...Read more
Sometimes: When the gallbladder is removed, the normal storage of bile and excretion in response to meals, is interrupted. Instead, the liver will constantly make bile and excrete this directly into the GI tract. Without food present, this can cause irritation of the intestine, causing diarrhea in about 20% of cholecystectomy patients. This may be yellow, since there may not be accompanying solid stool. ...Read more

Need more info: Normal stool color can vary greatly from brown to green to yellow. Yellow can result from a fatty meal, but could also indicate liver/gallbladder disease. Black, maroon, bloody, pale, white, clay colored stools or greasy/foamy/floating/mucus stools are all a cause for concern. Stooling frequency can also vary. More important than the #stools/day is a change in the normal pattern of stooling. ...Read more
Normal variation: The color of poo is derived from the waste pigment that end up in the bile, which is added to the intestines from the liver. It starts out an intense green & over time may change thru yellow to brown. The germs of the intestine convert the pigment as it transits the digestive tract. The less germ action the less color change.Loose stools are often a greenish color for this reason. ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer

Liver stuff?: Hi, Bradley. First of all, don't panic, ok? I really doubt this is life threatening. But u do need to get seen. I'm wondering about your liver. The liver makes bile, which can make the feces yellow or green. Something may be going on with the liver or gallbladder. You need blood labs and maybe a picture of the liver (ultrasound, CT, etc). This can b fixed, but u need to be seen ok? Good luck! ...Read more

Yellow stools have stoppe but now i feel sick cant get a docs appointment. Still got pain in my back and belly could missing pills be the cause?
Urgent care vs ER: What pills are you missing? Yellow stools can be due to a decrease in bile stemming from a problem in your liver, gallbladder, or pancreas.Pain in your back and abdomen, especially on the right side or in the middle would support this as well. Are your skin or eyes yellow?
