To a degree: Treatment of small bowel lymphoma requires proper histology and staging in addition to factors such as age, multiple areas of involvement, tumor size, and perforation. The best treatment for GI lymphoma is limited resection of the tumor, followed by postoperative radiotherapy. Cure rate is approximately 75% even with aggressive histologic types. Hi fiber, 80-100 ounces non caffeine, non alcoholic beverages each day, regular meal times, excercise. Consistency is the key to being symptom free.

Anal itching, scratches around anus skin, light bleeding. No pain/normal bowel mov. Rectoscopy normal. Ongoing for years. What is the best treatment?

Clean: Anal itching can be a very tough symptom to cure. However, I have found the following procedure an excellent "almost" cure. This routine works great and has been extremely successful with my patients.

High sed rate: The ESR is significantly elevated, which usually means there is an underlying infection or inflammatory disease. Less likely would be a tumor. S3 sacrum nerves causing bowel/bladder probs. Best treatment?

S3 sacrum nerves causing bowel/bladder probs. Best treatment?

Seek evaluation.: Neurologic problems of the bladder and bowel can be quite complex, and show up as a very wide range of symptoms and problems. I'd seek the evaluation of a urologist that sub-specializes in "neurourology". A full history, physical exam, and other testing will help determine what treatments (of which there are many), can improve your situation. Take care and good luck.
