Many possibilities: Tooth pain commonly does radiate and can be perceived as ear pain. It should be understood, however, that there may be other possibilities as well. I never recommended a temporary filling after root canal treatment. The root canal was done to cleanse the inside of your tooth. Temporary fillings have a risk of leaking and compromising the tooth.
