Eczema in the Vaginal...What is the best treatment for vaginal Eczema ...for My Daughter (4.5 years old) ..she pull off her pants..Need help?
See her pediatrician: I'm not sure why you think your 4 1/2 year old daughter has eczema in her vagina (is she itching at the area?) but it would need to be evaluated by her pediatrician. There are other causes for itching such as a yeast infection (was she recently on antibiotics, for instance). Don't guess at the diagnosis - have her seen so she can be made comfortable more quickly :)See 1 more doctor answer
I've had folliculitis in the vaginal area for years now, what is the best treatment for the scarring and itch it has created?
Stop shaving?: If you have been shaving the area, stop. That may be the main problem, perhaps the only problem. If pubic area hair control remains important, consider a hair removal cream instead. If not shaving, other factors may be important -- for example, you may be carrying virulent staph or strep. If you haven't yet seen a dermatologist, consider it now. She or he should be able to sort this out. Good luck
Patient specific: The best surgical treatment is one that is tailored to your specific findings and complaints. One surgery does not fit all patients. There is controversy about newer mesh surgery versus older methods. There is more and more robotic prolapse surgery. The best surgery is one done to your specific needs by a surgeon who does these surgeries often and has experience.See 1 more doctor answer
Here's help: If the laceration is small (less than 1/2 inch) and if the eye is not involved or the lid margin, and you do not suspect infection, then you can treat it by cleaning it, and taping the edges together. If any of the above conditions are present you should see your ophthalmologist to prevent scarring and damage to the vision.See 3 more doctor answers
Hi Treatment of vaginal itching? There is small bump in the outer lips of vaginal. What is that? Is that serious problem?
No best solution: Ecoli bacteria comes from yourself; your own GI tract. I would begin by paying closer attention to hygenic practices, like always wiping from the font to the back when you urinate/move your bowels. I wouldn't douche but using a peri-bottle to irrigate your vulva & perianal area might help. Utilizing intravaginal preparations like luvena may be helpful in keeping the balance of good & bad bacteria.
I have a small red sore on my vagina opening. I am getting chlaymidia treatment but just found this out what's it from?
Laceration: Stop bleeding by applying pressure. Rinse wound w clean water. Clean surrounding skin w soap & water on wash cloth. Apply antibiotic ointment. Initially cover w bandage until some healing has occurred. Change bandage when soiled/ wet or at least daily. Need tetanus shot if you haven't had one in last 10 years, don't know when you last had one or if the wound is dirty & it has been > than 5 yearsSee 1 more doctor answer
Depends: Depends on type of injury, blunt. Or penetrating, small laceration or extensive laceration , what is involved major vessels like hepatic vein or vena cava are involved. Simple injuries are by simple repair with contol of bleeding area of liver, complex injuries require like resection of liver lobe , ligation of hepatic artery, or repair of complex vascular reconstruction etc.
A plastic surgeon: Facial lacerations, if not treated properly, can leave permanent scar. Initially letting it bleed a bit will steriliize the area. Clean with cold water, cover with gauze (sterile if have), compress area gently, then would go to dermatologist, plastics derm , or plastic surgeon. If not available, go to er, and they will contact appropriate specialist.
Soap & water: Wash all cuts as soon as possible with soap and water, or at least flush with water if unable to wash, and remove any visible foreign bodies. Then cover with polysporin (bacitracin and polymyxin) (not neosporin!) & a bandage, bringing the wound as closely together as possible, and apply pressure if bleeding continues. If large/deep, over a joint, still bleeding, or difficulties beyond the wound, seek medical care.See 1 more doctor answer
