Depends: Lots of potential problems. Abnormalities in sodium, potassium, magnesium are not uncommon. Abnormalities in glucose (not an electrolyte) are common. Careful monitoring, and appropriate changes in formulas, or Insulin dosing can help keep these down to a minimum.
