I've had pcos since puberty, it has been untreated for the last 10yrs. After losing weight my periods have become regular. Will the excess hair & deep voice likely resolve themselves too? Treatments?

Maybe: Voice may change slightly; if not, make sure lab has normalized and doesn't need further treatment. Hair growth may decrease in rate of growth; male hair may be less likely to spread to other areas, but once hair follicle is masculinized by higher male hormone levels, it never changes back. Only laser or electrolysis can remove it but expensive. Metformin help further lower Insulin resistance. ...Read more
