No worries: "Abnormal cells" usually means HPV infection and the kinds of cell changes that could mean future cervical cancer risk. If such changes are mild, repeat pap in a few months is typical. However, I haven't a clue what is meant by a pap shoing "new blood vessels". Contact your doctor to clarify all the details. Needs to be watched.: There is a term called heat induced thrombosis which is a clot that forms at the saphenofemoral junction following laser ablation. This usually occurs within 1 week of the procedure and should spontaneously resolve within 3 weeks of the lasering. If the clot is of a certain size or doesn't resolve in this time period, it may require blood thinners. You at least need follow up ultrasounds. ...Read more
