Sudden severe pain in lower left side, painful walking, bending, sharp cutting pain in side, Burning in thigh, pain spread to in abdomin, and low back?
Needs evaluation 1st: If you've had the proper evaluation, been through physical therapy, medications to control pain, etc....and you are now bedbound and immobile with pain and maybe even some leg muscle weakness....time for surgery. Otherwise, I would continue to do things conservatively, try aquatherapy, water jogging, stretching, yoga, massages, etc. ...Read more

Trimming callus: Try self-trimming the callus if you do not have any medical history that can complicate your self treatment. If trimming of callus with file or emory board does not help, you may have a plantar wart or other pathology. See a doctor for a referral to either a dermatologist or podiatrist. Hope that helps. ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer

Probably not: While massage therapy can be quite helpful in some patients, your pain and weakness is worrisome, and you need to have a complete workup.
