What is the ?: I don't quite understand the question. Did you mean that otc medications other than otrivine did or didn't help? In the first 48 hrs after symptoms started, an anti-viral medication may shorten or reduce your flu symptoms. After that , only time would clear them. (1-2 weeks). ...Read more
