What is the best filler for lip injections?

What is the best filler for lip injections?

Lip Filler: Hyaluronic acid fillers (juvederm or restylane) are the best products for injectable lip augmentation. Radiesse, (dermal fillers) sculptra, and artefill are not suitable for the lips and may cause significant problems. Permanent augmentation with implants such as permalip are reasonable in the right circumstances - as are fat and smas implants. Best to seek the advice of a facial plastic surgeon. Hope this helps! ...Read more

Best dermal filler for lips? Would it be weird for 18 y/o male to get lip injections?

Best dermal filler for lips? Would it be weird for 18 y/o male to get lip injections?

Whoa: Please forgive my frankness. Especially at your age, the key to a man looking good is intensive and joyful exercising, not plastic surgery except to correct a real birth defect. With your history, please consider whether you might have body dysmorphic disorder, and any plastic procedure will leave you dissatisfied. ...Read more

Which is more effective for lip injections: fat transfers or the fillers? Which lasts longer and is safe?

Which is more effective for lip injections: fat transfers or the fillers? Which lasts longer and is safe?

Lip filler: hello ~ fat transfers are way safer. The fillers no matter how safe they say they are, its a foreign substance with problems known and unknown at time of injection and do not go away and might have severe long term problems. Be happier with a slightly less long lasting cosmetic effect but overall safer procedure. The fat transfer does work well for up to 5 years.Always ask WHY you're doing this! ...Read more

I have an appointment for Restylane (dermal fillers) lip injections next month. What can I expect from the procedure?

Swelling then sexy: Expect swelling for 1 to 2 days. You may also have some bruising. Once this settles, you will have fuller, sexy-looking lips. If, for some reason, you don't like the final result, Restylane (dermal fillers) can actually be reversed/dissolved. So there is no great risk and you will probably love the result. ...Read more

Do lip injections cause your lips to sag and wrinkle if you stop getting them done?

Not exactly.: Your lips do sag and wrinkle as you age; that's a basic reality. Injecting fillers will conceal at least some of that sagging and wrinkling, temporarily. If you stop getting the filler, and you're no longer concealing the sagging and wrinkling, your lips will look saggy and wrinkly - not because of the injections, but because you're no longer concealing the normal aging process. ...Read more
