What Is The Best Burn Cream To Use
Antibacterial: It depends on the degree of the burn. For first degree burns and mild sunburns, where only red, painful skin is present without blistering, aloe or aloe with Lidocaine may be helpful. You could also use prescription silvadene (silver sulfadiazine). For second degree burns covering small surface areas, silvadene (silver sulfadiazine), bactroban, and Bacitracin are all good. For larger burns, seek medical care.
What is the best ointment/cream to heal hair dye burns on the face? I have two very small burns because I didn't wipe it off right away and they hurt!
Burn: The easiest thing you can do is apply neosporin which will act as barrier to prevent infection and allow healing to occur while help soothing the ache. If you continue with pain definitely consult your primary doctor.
Good morning! What's the best method to removing body hair? Depilatory creams burn and shaving doesn't remove completely. Waxing I think is painful.
Grooming: One does not go to the doctor for grooming advice. This is your opportunity to figure out and choose for yourself. Unwanted hair is not a medical condition.
So I used shaving cream to remove hair from my testicles but it burned me what's the best tip I can get to cure this burn? Thank you
Leave it alone: Leave it alone and let the skin heal naturally and then never use that cream again.
I had scleroderma and it left a scar that resembles a burn/discoloration. I sometimes get depressed due to color. What's the best cream to be normal?
Morphea: It sounds like you had the localized form (also called morphea). Retin-a (tretinoin) cream will sometimes help with those types of scars, though it is an off-label use, and improvement is slow. There are plastic surgery options too, depending on where the scar is located. A dermatologist can help you decide on the best course of action.
What's the best thing to put on a blister burn on the bottom of my foot? A burn cream, somethig with Aloe Vera? Is there a way to numb it?
Silvadene (silver sulfadiazine): If first degree burn, often cool compresses and steroid cream may be sufficient. If second degree burn, Silvadene (silver sulfadiazine) cream provides zinc oxide for healing and protection along with a topical antibiotic - provided you are not allergic to Sulfa. Keeper covered with cotton wrap and change daily. Seek medical attention asap if any symptoms/signs of infection. Take care!
My husband got big 1st degree burns on his arm today at work. What topical cream would u recommend best. Thanks in advance.
Topical Burn Cream: Burns are classified as 1st, 2and, or 3rd degree with 3rd degree being the worst. You did not mention how large an area is affected. If no topical cream or ointment has been prescribed, you may want to ask your husband's doctor if silver sulfadiazine (silvadine) cream would benefit your husband's burns. I have seen silver sulfadiazine cream used in burn centers. Sulfa allergy excludes use.
Zinc oxide: Any of the zinc oxide ointments that are used for diaper rash are a nice trick. They sooth the skin and coat it to protect it from further irritation from the stool. Other options include a cortisone ointment, but this can thin the skin, ultimately leading to it being more fragile and vulnerable to irritation.See 1 more doctor answer
Scars;VitaminE: Life holds no guarantees as we know, but vitamin e oil placed directly on the scar regularly can help to fade or remove the scar. You can get a bottle of it in the drug store. It's inexpensive and worth a try; just be patient. A dermatologist is the best place to start.

Protect to heal: Friction and constant exposure to moisture (sweat) reduces protective skin oils is the cz. Underwear may also contribute by bunching or itself causing friction. Trying different undergarments, applying thick protective skin cream, stop intense activity for a while and see. A thin hydrocolloid dressing (ex. Duoderm) applied to each side 2-3 x/wk) prevents friction and promotes healing.

LionsTigersandBlots: If you are wearing SPF 100 sunblock and still burn, I'd guess you're not putting on enough of it, or it's not what the label says, or you are hyper sensitive to UV light no matter how much, or you are taking a medication that sensitizes you to the sun. So STOP. You don't want your skin to look like mine after frequent burns (spots, blotches, crusts, fissures and scales, YUK!). Consult a dermatologist!
