What Is Significance Of Tsh 3rd Generation Blood Test Results
I'm on levothyroxine. Can you tell me about T3 replacement for many persistent hypothyroid symptoms even with normal TSH blood test results?
How normal is normal: 1st things 1st. How normal is your tsh? Just below upper limit of normal? Or below 2? However, you didn't specify your hypothyroid symptoms, many of which overlap w/taking propanolol, wellbutrin ; vyvanse. Talk to your doc about switching or increasing dose w/close monitoring. ...Read more

I got a blood test done and the results reflect the following: TSH .328, HDL 32, triglycerides 215, alkaline 23, and blood sugar 107. What you think?
More information: Why were the tests done? Was specimen drawn after an overnight fast? If so the triglycerides are high and so is the blood sugar. Hdl is low. None of the findings are diagnostic of a disease, except, that blood sugar suggests a pre-diabetic state. It is best to discuss the results and treatment with the doctor who ordered the tests. ...Read moreSee 2 more doctor answers
