Expect full recover in 2 to 3 weeks. You also go home right after the procedure, if everything goes well. Speak with your surgeon for more info. Good luck! ...Read more

I have a 3-4cm dermoid cyst on each ovary, which cause some mild pain, usually around ovulation time. At what point should I consider surgery?

I would: Consider getting this done whenever you can. A solid cyst, if it gets a little larger, can twist on itself cutting the blood supply to the ovary. It's called an ovarian torsion and it is a surgical emergency. I just wouldn't wait too long, good luck. ...Read more

I am 35 yrs old and I have a dermoid cyst and my period is irregular. Is there any other way to get rid of this cyst other than surgery?
