Ultrasounds at twelve weeks are accurate within 7 days. If you were 12 weeks by lmp and 12 4/7 weeks by sono, you due date would stay consistent with your lmp. ...Read more

Congratulations and good luck. ...Read more

First trimester ultrasounds have an error rate of approximately one week (max). So that essentially rules out the possibility of an 11/25 conception date. ...Read more

Why are ultraound edd more accurate than your LMP edd?

Not always true : Early in fetal life all babies grow at the same rate. The longer into the pregnancy the more each baby grows slightly differently. Therefore, early in pregnnacy we can measure the size of a baby and very accurately predict the due date.
