Get checked for STDs: Vaginal bleeding after sex is suspicious for cervicitis, often due to STDs like gonorrhea, chlamydia, sometimes trichomonas. Probably you were examined and tested for STDs, but if in doubt check with your doctor. Metronidazole is fine for bacterial vaginosis and trich, but not for gonorrhea or chlamydia. I've social anxiety, get nervous, can't talk, doc gave me alprazolam (t.I.D) and sertaline (b.I.D) for 2 weeks, will these cause permanent ED & impotence?
No: But medication shouldn't be the only answer. The sertraline is the best treatment but may take weeks or months to work, and to get to the dose that works. The xanax (alprazolam) works right away, and should be used only when needed, and if taken regularly, needs to be tapered.
