Don't worry: At 19 it is most likely a benign fibroadenoma , so are reactive lymph nodes frequently seen in young woman, best options to take it out , or get a needle biopsy to establish diagnosis , then if it is fibroadenoma could be safely observed. ...Read more

What is done for a breast fibroadenoma lump?

What is done for a breast fibroadenoma lump?

Tissue-Diagnosis: Fibroadenomas are the most common breast tumors. Even the best of us can be fooled by exam or even ultrasound findings--biopsy is the best way to DX definitively. I'm 21 years old and have a lump in right breast. It's fibroadenoma. What happens to it in the future?

Ultrasound & needle biopsy is needed at times to be sure it is just fcb. There are reports from britain that going without a bra helps this quite a bit. See http://www.007b.Com/fibrocystic_breast_pain.Php. Breast feeding & avoiding caffeine helps too. ...Read more

Possibly: This is hard to answer without knowing more information. Was the first one completely exised or just biopsied? The breast radiologist should be able to answer your question. Regardless, both are benign so i would not worry. Fibroadenomas are not uncommon in young women. ...Read more
