BOTH: Anxiety may result from worry or fear. However, it is like going back and forth in a rocking chair and getting nowhere. Rather than procrastinate, take some type of action to address an issue and set in motion a solution. Also, consider using the power of auto suggestion by repeating a positive affirmation 20-30x out loud or to yourself upon retiring to bed. Do this for 3-4 weeks and re-evaluate. ...Read more

What's the best way to get rid of anxious &/or intrusive thoughts ? I do have anxiety. I only wanted some tips on this issue .

Let them flow: Let the anxious thoughts flow in and out as you focus on something meaningful or specific. Do not try too hard to block or repressing them. They get mad and just jump around and try to get back in your conscience and take over.
