Interpretation: Interpretation of visual field change is somewhat subjective. As many as 5 cosequetive visual fields are necessary to show change over time. Peripheral changes can have a lot of "noise" in deciding whether or not it is real defect or not. Repetition of field testing and confirmation of defect over time is more accurate.
