Cardiac VS Reflux: First, you need to prove to yourself this is not cardiac, so discuss this with your doctor. Call tomorrow and get an appointment. If basic cardiac work up is ok, then reflux can be considered. Gerd can cause occasional esophageal spasm, which can mimic cardiac pain. It's usually relieved by swallowing liquid.
