My 2 year old (on Tuesday!) son has a round black spot on his tongue. It feels raised. Any ideas what it is? Should I get him evaluated now?
Black tongue: Could be normal in dark skinned individuals however sudden changes could be due to infections; yeast, medications including antibiotics or inadequate oral hygiene & less commonly, due to other health conditions.
