Very premature is a condition in which a baby is delivered between 28 and 31 weeks' gestation. Is it okay to let a 100.7 degree fever run its course w/o taking meds in early pregnancy (7.5wks)? If fever rises, at what temp should I take Tylenol?
Tylenol IsPrettySafe: It depends on how you feel.If you can eat and drink normally and feel fairly well, then a temperature of 101-102 will be tolerated fairly well.Over 102 I'd take something even if I felt OK.It also depends on what may be causing the fever, no matter how high. If it's a minor "viral" illness like a cold, no problem, but if you have some other serious medical problem then even 100.7 could be worrisome ...Read more
Sharp LLQ pain for 5 days. Pelvic U/S neg. Body aches and 99 temp. No constipation. S/S of early pregnancy/too early to test. Can't explain abd pain?
I am 16w1d pregnant & have been tracking my basal body temp for almost a year, even after my pregnancy was confirmed. When can I stop taking

I am 3 days into my period, its lighter than usual and my basal body temp has not gone down. No chance of pregnancy. But I don't eat often. Any Ideas?
Sounds ok: There is nothing abnormal about having a light period. Many with heavy periods would happily trade places with you. It is not clear why you are checking basal body temperature during your menstrual cycle. This is not likely to yield any useful information and is not typically recommended. If you are concerned about an abnormal appetite consider seeing a primary care doctor or nutritionist. ...Read more
2 questions: can someone be pregnant without nausea, sore breast & high basal temps? AND if so how often does pregnancy end up healthy ?
Sure: There are many women who are pregnant and do not suffer the common complaints of others during the first trimester. The lack of negative symptoms can not be used to predict the outcome of a pregnancy. If you are pregnant and have been seen an evaluated by a doctor confirming a normal pregnancy then enjoy the lack of negative symptoms ...Read more
