My ultrasound report says that there appears ti be a mass with mixed echogenicity near the pouch of douglas, measuring 8.8cm x 5.8 cm x 7.8 cm.

Hmmm: Thats sounds very wishy washy. You either have normal echogenicity or increased encgencity. You should ask your nephrologist if you have one.
