Colic: Can be multiple reasons for the irritability,whether its from the skin issues or GI issues. Might be allergic to the breast milk/formula. Should be tested via a stool sample for blood. Not exactly: Patients can have pain similar to biliary colic after cholecystectomy, not due to contraction of the gall bladder against resistance, but due to such entities as: cystic duct syndrome, sphincter of odi spasm, stricture of the extrahepatic bile duct system or primary or retained common bile duct stone/sludge.
