Trigeminal neuropath: Trigeminal neuropathy, or inflammation on the nerve providing sensation to your face. This is most likely due to a viral infection, I treated with steroids. If I were you, I would consider formal consult.

Although the zone of reference can be distant from the involved muscle and may not be in the same dermatome, the pattern of pain referral is reproducible and consistent and can serve as a guide to locate trigger point. Rec.: moist heat rest and nsaid.

Nerve: This may simply be an irritable superficial nerve which may improve on its own especially if you have no other neurologic symptoms. If symptoms persist or if other areas of numbness or tingling develop, a neurologist would be best qualified to evaluate you.

Pinched nerve: Occurs when too much pressure is applied to a nerve by surrounding tissues. The common symptoms are numbness, sharp, aching or burning pain, which may radiate outward to your ear, eye, pharynx and jaws. Treatment: physical therapy, medications, cognitive behavioral therapy and acupuncture. The treatment is usually effective. Rec.: see a pain management specialist.

A few thought.: This is not an easy answer and something youneed to ask your physician. One thought is TMJ also know as temporal mandibular joint syndrome = in your jaw joint. The complaints you have coudl fit this. We can see this with neck/shoulder muscle syndromes. Ask your physician to evaluate you for these problems.

Simple or Exotic: What you are experiencing may be as simple as severe neuromuscular stress and the secondary and tertiary symptoms as a result of the acute-on-chronic nature of the primary dysfunction/cause. A/some therapeutic massage (s) may be very beneficial. On the other hand, there could be something more exotic going on, from circulatory issues to neurological issues to anything in-between. Please see PCP.

Neck pain: Yes that position could cause impingement of a nerve to produce your symptoms. You need a complete history and physical examination done and probably imagining of your neck.

Chest pain: Best to go to the doc and get checked out. Many possibilities and heart attack isn't high on the list for a 26y/o but not impossible. Pleural and pericardial inflammation are real as well as other things.

Need evaluation: Jaw pain and left arm numbness can be a signal of cardiac insufficiency. Need to be cleared byphysician now. If medically sound, need to then see dentist to evaluate occlusion and muscle function. May need orthodontist if malocclusion contributory to facial pain.

Rear-neck/back pain for 2 mths, now less but get random daily tightness in front neck, face, jaw/teeth, arm tingling, headaches esp. When sitting long. Mostly gone when wake up and worsens gradually?

Jaw and Muscle Pain: It appears that you have a serious TMJ and muscle dysfunction that causes these muscles to go into a spasm and the jaw joint (TMJ) to be misaligned. You seriously need treatment from a dentist that is very skilled at treating tmj. Only about 5% of dentist are really good in this realm in that they are very familiar with multiple treatment options to select from based on the patient needs.
