Which food avoid for liver cyst
i have small cyst in my liver I have pain ?

Doubt relationship: Many people have little cysts in the liver; they are usually harmless and if the radiologist is not concerned, i would ignore it. If this was found on imaging for pain that you are having, and the capsule is not stretched, seek the cause of the pain elsewhere. Diet's not going to affect a benign liver cyst. Trust it is not echinococcus. ...Read more

Can small multiple liver cysts[subcentimeter] seen on CT,be caused by a parasitic infection?[ health not good], and I m worried about such infection

Possible: A form of hydatid cyst may present with multiple small cysts in the liver. However, unless you have been tending to sheep and were exposed to dog feces, it is highly unlikely that you have this parasitic infection. You should talk to the doctor who ordered the test and with her/his help consult the radiologist who read the CT. For good health - Have a diet rich in fresh vegetables, fruits, whole grains, milk and milk products, nuts, beans, legumes, lentils and small amounts of lean meats. Avoid saturated fats. Exercise at least 150 minutes/week and increase the intensity of exercise gradually. Do not use tobacco, alcohol, weed or street drugs in any form. Drink enough water daily so that your urine is mostly colorless. Practice safe sex. ...Read more

Mri abd prob focal modular hyperplasia & cyst (small) on liver. If md orders ultrasound of abdomen, what will it show that the MRI didn't is us needed

See below: Us may be used to confirm the cyst if the MRI was not performed with contrast. Us does not help further characterize the focal nodular hyperplasia, although it can be used for future follow up. It may also be possible that biopsy of the "probable" focal nodular hyperplasia was recommended and us is done to see if this nodule can be seen on us for us-guided biopsy. ...Read more
